Swinton Running Club are delighted to return with the 33rd edition of our Ladies Race.

The race is a 1-lap course of 5 miles, taking in the City of Salford's largest conservation area, including the lake at Old Warke Dam, the Bridgewater canal and the beauty of Worsley Woods. The race is on both trail, woodlands and sections of path.
Whether you’re training for a new challenge or looking for a sociable jog in the fresh countryside air, join us and enjoy a trail race through Worsley. Road or trail shoes are suitable for the course, we would advise trail shoes if the days leading up to the race have been extremely wet.

We will close entries as soon as we have reached our limit.
When the race sells out, we do not operate an official waiting list for the event, there will be on the day entries if we haven’t sold all 400 places in advance. Please enter ASAP to avoid disappointment. Entry on the day is +£2 - subject to availability.
TRANSFER OF ENTRIES
You are able to transfer your entry to another runner, free of charge by contacting the booking site you made the race entry with, and provided it is at least 7 days before the race. Any monies changing hand would be a direct agreement between yourselves. PLEASE DO NOT run in another participant's number, please complete the race transfer correctly as in the event of an emergency we would have the wrong runner's emergency contact details and medical information.
PREGNANCY AND CHILDBIRTH
As part of our commitment to being an inclusive race, to support female athletes and be a SheRACES Accredited event – if you have just become pregnant before the race or indeed have had a child since you entered and are unable to transfer your entry to another runner please contact us on the email address [email protected]

To reduce the amount of paper and postage we use, race numbers will NOT be posted out. All race numbers are to be collected from Race HQ on the day. Please ensure you allow sufficient time to collect your number before the start. Numbers can be collected from Registration between 7.30am and 8.30am.
Please dress appropriately for trail running through the countryside. Dependent on the weather parts of the course may be muddy with exposed tree roots and other trip hazards potentially on show. Normal running trainers or trail shoes are suitable for the route.
Apologies the course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes, buggies or pushchairs and runners are not allowed to run with dogs.
For safety reasons the use of ALL headphones ARE BANNED from our races.

In completing this entry I declare that I, or anyone that I am paying for, will not compete in the run unless medically fit to do so and that, in any event, I/we will compete at my/our own risk. I/we accept that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, action, claim, costs or expenses which may arise in consequence of my/our participation in the event. I/We understand that entry fees are non-refundable. I understand that for safety reasons that this entry should not be given to anyone other than the person identified above.
I also hereby give my permission to pass my/our details to parties directly involved with the running of this event and to use my/our name, quotes, video footage, photographic likeness for marketing and promotional purposes. I/We will familiarise myself with the race rules and information provided in the race information sent prior to the event.
